Why are they in the fridge? Someone saving them so they can make a nice croc-potato salad for the summer BBQ? Or can you store them in the fridge because they are cold blooded? Some day will someone open the fridge and find a bunch of croc babies wiggling around?
We put them in the fridge so they wouldn't hatch. (Last year someone left some in a bucket in a warm hallway, and they started incubating. It doesn't take much for reptiles.)
We were just trying to keep them "fresh" until we had time to blow them out for educational use. They'd make one whopper of an omelet. That's the vegetable crisper they're in - they're approximately the size of red potatoes.
